The ANU is a leader in the International Relations field. It prepares students for careers in trade, foreign affairs, journalism, international business, and research. Students will be introduced to the broad historical and intellectual framework of international relations that has been used to describe the world of states since the 17th century. Afterwards, students will study 20th century issues and contemporary, modern-day issues.
This is a full-time, three-year program. Students have the flexibility to extend their chosen language subject into a major. They may also choose to go on an exchange or international/national internship program.
